Vampire Rosalía has a thirst for this rising Parisian label

The singer and new fiancé Rauw Alejandro tapped Egonlab to dress their bloodsucking ‘Vampiros’ alter-egos

What better way to celebrate undying love than by channelling the literal undead in a sexy music video? Where most couples settle for a balloon arch, some streamers, and a couple of crates of mid-priced fizz to toast their engagement, Rosalía and her new fiancé Rauw Alejandro are not most couples, instead deciding to commemorate the gorgeous occasion with a new music video for their collab track “Vampiros”.

Released today, the happy couple channel Tilda Swinton and Tom Hiddleston in Only Lovers Left Alive, ambling around a deserted town flashing their fangs, downing questionably coloured shots (do vampires like apple Sourz?), and setting their lustful sights on the necks of some wrinkly old Chanel-wearing women. Eat the rich!!! Quite literally!!!

With Dracula and his cohorts going down through history as a pretty stylish gang – looking at you Blade, The Hunger, and Queen of the Damned – and Rosalía herself known for being a bit of a fashion plate, it made sense that the fashions in “Vampiros” are pretty hot, too. With both singers stepping into matching shredded, full length denim coats trimmed with faux fur, their looks come courtesy of rising label Egonlab (with a little help from Blumarine’s Nicola Brognano, who created the strappy crucifix top Rosalía wears throughout).

Based out of Paris and headed up by designers and lovers Florentin Glémarec and Kevin Nompeix, the brand took home the prestigious ANDAM Prize in 2021, making their name with subversive but wearable outerwear, trashed denim, outsized tailoring, and avant-garde silhouettes – as well as kitting Harry Styles out in a glittering clowncore look for this year’s Grammys. Glémarec and Nompeix have previously explained they create clothes to “hold a mirror up to society”, but in this instance, probably better off to avoid lest Rosalía herself go up in smoke (RIP).

Watch the video below and revisit the SS23 Blumarine show the crucifix top was taken from in the gallery above.
