The models don’t quite look like time travellers or astronauts or aliens, but future aesthetes that have settled on some scorched planet. There are stone-scraping skirts and swollen bombers alongside shell jackets and trench coats that look as though they’ve been turned inside-out and upside-down for enhanced protection. At the time of its release, Jerry Lorenzo described the collection as “transcending space, time, and trends,” which is a theme Ugbodu and Iyare have sustained in the latest edition of Dazed.
