Doe Dusty is the influencer dressed to lead a movement

The LES-based fashion influencer takes to Nike’s latest runway show

To celebrate Nike Air Max Day, we’ve partnered with Nike to transport you into 2053. In a new documentary, five creatives from Generation Air look back at the key moments in 2023 which pushed culture forward. Head to the hub here to watch the documentary and find out more.

Raised in Baltimore but based in Downtown New York, Doe Dusty is not just your average influencer. With his eccentric style and range of talents, Dusty is the true definition of a creative multihyphenate. Born Kyle Gayle, Dusty’s creative endeavours range from shoe design, to art, styling and modelling.

His latest venture, however, has seen him swap the Instagram grid for the catwalk and prove why he is fashion’s latest force du jour. Taking to Nike’s digital runway, we see Dusty unlike we’ve never seen him before. Serving looks, the camera pans into multi-layered shots revealing layers of latex and fitted black, sportswear-inspired garments and while most models rarely get a choice on the look they wear at a show, Dusty’s look felt intrinsically aligned with his actual style. Pictured taking the runway in the latest Nike VaporMax Plus and Air Max Pulse with bright red hair, the whole thing feels like it could have been pulled directly from his closet – which we guess is one of the perks of starring in a show as a member of Generation Air.

Watch Dusty walk the runway below.
