They started by looking at each of the stories – by Gareth McConnell, Nick Knight, Viviane Sassen and Craig McDean – and drew on the colours, forms and atmospheres to devise a unique concept for each window.Vertical neon tubes cast a giant image of Michelle Williams (one of the 29 women shot for AnOther’s Decade in Style project) in brilliant pastel light. Nick Knight’s dream-like images of Carmen Kass peek through a mysterious cloud of scratched white paint. The flowers from Vivian Sassen’s accessories shoot have literally come to life, and a cyclone of pages from Gareth McConnell’s shoot are nailed and plastered to the walls. If you look carefully in one of the windows you will also find replicas of bank notes cheekily defaced by artists Jake and Dinos Chapman. You could have a chance to win one of the five originals when you buy a copy of the AnOther Magazine at Liberty. Many thanks to Maxine Groucutt and all the team at Liberty.
