Joining the existing line-up including Maximilian Davis, Nensi Dojaka, and Goom Heo are newbie designers Jawara Alleyne and HRH (otherwise known as Hannah Hopkins). Graduating from CSM’s menswear course in 2020, Alleyne explores masculinity through his sensual designs. Raised between Jamaica and the Cayman Islands, his clothes weave stories that draw on his culture and heritage. Hopkins is the brains behind label HRH, whose subversive, Insta-friendly monster-mash accessories have amassed a cult following across the course of the last year. “I’m excited by this group: the talent is so diverse,” Kennedy revealed in a statement. “I’m in awe of the energy and optimism they bring to this year’s line-up. I’m seeing some of my favourite ideas and clothes coming through within their collections. I want everyone to know them like I do.” All five designers are set to debut their latest collections as part of LFW’s AW21 season, which kicks off on February 19. Definitely one not to miss.
