Launching the ‘ReBurberry Edit’, the British heritage label has curated an edit of 26 styles from its SS20 collection, all of which are crafted from sustainable materials. With the brand’s classic Burberry Trench Coat featuring, which has been finished off in the label’s signature check, the house also debuts a series of capes, parkas, and accessories, which been created from scraps, industrial plastics, and other recycled materials. Hoping to achieve more transparency, the brand is also rolling out a new labelling system, which will allow customers to gain a deeper insight into a product’s environmental credentials. Coming in the form of a pistachio label which will be fitted into clothing, the scheme will allow you to see if a product meets a range of environmental criteria, such as if there are recycled natural fibres used in the materials. For AW20, Burberry continued to promote sustainability with another carbon-neutral show. The event, which closed off London Fashion Week, saw Arca perform while Kendall Jenner, Bella and Gigi Hadid took to the runway. Take a look at the gallery above.
