Frank Ocean and a bunch of cute rats star in this new campaign

Ratatouille could never

Fresh from making his debut as a Prada poster boy, Frank Ocean has been revealed as one of the faces of Marc Jacobs’ latest collab.

In celebration of the Lunar New Year and the Chinese Year of the Rat, the designer has joined forces with Miami and New York-based brand Stray Rats on a collection made up of hoodies, t-shirts, and grunge-y striped wool sweaters featuring motifs and details inspired by the cute – or terrifying, depending on your disposition – four-legged critters, as well as Stray Rats’ signature graphics.

The offering is an homage to Jacobs’ Y2K-era label Stinky Rat, which was founded after Juergen Teller’s toddler daughter called her dad exactly that in his presence.

With legendary photographer Collier Schorr lensing the campaign, alongside Frank and a host of IRL rats, Stray Rats and Marc Jacobs friends and family also star: with founder Julian Consuegra and Krimewatch musician Rhylli Ogiura both on the line-up.
