Featuring the likes of singer and Nine8 collective member Lava La Rue, CSM student Eastwood Danso, who collaborated with the shoe company for his recent AW20 show, artist Rifke Sadleir, and make-up artist Wendy Asumadu, the young talents are all seen modelling the brand’s latest collection of sneakers. Entitled the Converse “Twisted” Classics, the capsule is made up of three new styles which subvert and reimagine some of the label’s most recognisable kicks. The styles getting a fresh twist include the classic Chuck Taylor silhouette which has been transformed into the Run Star Hike – first seen as part of a collab with JW Anderson last year – a mash-up of the Converse Pro Leather and One Stars dubbed the CPX70, and the Twisted Heritage, which features an oversized version of Converse’s logo embossed to the side, with each pair further cementing the evolution of the brand from sportswear to street style tour de force. The Converse Twisted Classics will be available globally in stores and online. Escape the algorithm! Get The DropEmail address SIGN UP Get must-see stories direct to your inbox every weekday.
