For that very reason, in 2009, outerwear brand Moose Knuckles was founded, in the hopes of protecting Canadians from the extreme weather conditions they faced. Ten years on, and the brand has done just that, establishing itself as not only a staple among the people of Canada, but also worldwide. Launched this month, Moose Knuckles’ latest collection is a fresh expansion of its recently dropped AW19 offering. The Gold Collection aims to add a heightened sense of luxury to the pieces, with parkas, hoodies, bombers, jackets, and new accessories all on the line-up. Notably, the puffers of the capsule, including the signature Curloss jacket, are created completely fur-free and have the perfect feature for the winter – a water-repellent outer shell. Two new styles available include the men’s Colombier Parka and the women’s Mont Joli Parka, with all pieces designed and crafted using ethically sourced materials. 24-karat-gold-plated logos and trims appear throughout the collection, adding subtle yet sophisticated detailing to the more core garments, such as the Stag Lake Parka. However, the standout piece within the capsule is a brand new jacket, named the Errington, which features a high-gloss shell – proving that your outerwear need not be as dull as the conditions you wear it in. The collection is now available at Moose Knuckles stores, online, and selected global retailers.
