In fact, like us, you’ll probably be obsessed with her and her slime green roots. After fronting Calvin Klein’s most recent jeans and underwear campaign, the musician has now been tapped to feature in MCM’s AW19 campaign – the first from new global creative officer Dirk Schönberger. “For me she’s a bit of a role model for younger generations, even though she would probably hate the word,” Schönberger explains to WWD. “I’ve seen her play concerts and she tells her fans to be themselves without holding back.” Photographed by Lea Colombo, Eilish appears in the AW19 collection from the leather goods brand, wearing a bucket hat and bumbag in the label’s signature print. “This is such a strong message at a time where uniformity is somehow on the rise,” Schönberger continues. “She’s a game-changer: Not only is she disruptive, but it also feels like she can’t be corrupted. It’s not a marketing trick: She is that person. She really stands out in the current music scene.” MCM AW19 campaignPhotography Lea ColomboExpand your creative community and connect with 15,000 creatives from around the world.READ MORERevisiting Bjork’s massive fashion archive in the pages of DazedWelcome to Sophia Stel’s PalaceJake Zhang is forging fashion avatars for a post-physical worldThis New York designer wants you to rethink the value of hard workGo behind-the-scenes at Dev Hynes’ first Valentino campaignHow Jane Birkin became fashion’s most complicated iconLudovic de Saint Sernin answers the dA-Zed quiz Lily Allen was out for revenge at 16Arlington’s It-girl conventionJil Sander gets cosy with MonclerExploring the parallel lives of Vivienne Westwood and cult manga NANAHaider Ackermann throws it down with Willie Nelson for Canada GooseBrontez Purnell on the rise of Telfar Clemens
