Celine’s new menswear campaign was shot in a Berlin club loved by Bowie

As well as other locations around the German city

With just a few days to go until the SS20 Celine show, which takes place in Paris on Sunday night, the French label’s AW19 menswear campaign has been released.

Shot by Hedi Slimane in Berlin, the images see a series of angular boys with impossibly chiselled facial structures lounge on rooftops and lean against graffiti-covered walls in a series of looks from next season’s collection. Others are captured in SO36, the legendary nightclub frequented by David Bowie, Iggy Pop, and Suicide in the 70s and 80s.

Finishing everything off is a short film which takes us on a tour of the German city, featuring glitchy, 8-bit esque music by Canadian ‘mixed media collective’ Crack Cloud. Check it out below.
