Taking over the ballroom of the Plaisterers’ Hall in Barbican, Kostadinov was thinking about aerodynamics for SS20. Manifesting in the form of jockeys wearing silk jackets and tunics, the models wore over-the-knee boots courtesy of the designer’s collab with Camper. Following the show, Kostadinov held a party with Dazed and Asics – who he has an ongoing collaboration with – to celebrate. Taking over Unit 58 in Tottenham, a previously unused warehouse that opened its doors for its first ever event, the party featured DJ sets from Pigskin, Bogdan Dražić, and Yasmina Dexter (AKA Pandora’s Jukebox). Party-goers included A Sai Ta, Reba Maybury, Akinola Davies, and Fredrik Tjærandsen – the Central Saint Martins graduate behind those viral balloon dresses. Elsewhere, the Dazed 100 was represented by photographer Joshua Woods, Jason’s Closet founder and presenter Miss Jason, activist Hélène Selam Kleih, and digital 3D artist Cattyt. If you didn’t make it into the party – check out the live updates from head of fashion Emma Hope Allwood’s IG takeover on @dazedfashion – photographer Christopher McCrory was there snapping all the pics from the night.
