For those of you out there that fall into the second camp, news of Givenchy’s latest competition may just be of interest. Following the success of its Steven Meisel-lensed I Am Your Mirror campaign, in which models were encouraged by a sultry voiceover to eat apples while imagining they were their mother-in-law, or caress boiled eggs lovingly (yes, really), the Parisian label is now on the hunt for its future vocal star. Launching today, ‘The Voice Over Challenge’ invites those keen to lend their vocal talents to record a short audition tape on the Givenchy website, before the competition closes at midnight, April 7. The winner will then be announced on April 10. Dust off your vocal cords, click here to head to the Givenchy site – and don’t fuck it up. Watch the full SS19 campaign below. Escape the algorithm!
