Penélope Cruz just walked at Karl Lagerfeld’s final Chanel show

The actress appeared at the Parisian house’s AW19 show, in tribute to the late designer

The day is finally here: it’s both the last day of the AW19 womenswear season and Karl Lagerfeld’s final collection for Chanel.

More on the show shortly, but spoiler alert: it was held in a German skiing town setting, complete with snow and cabins with smoking chimneys. And among the major cast of Lagerfeld’s fave models – Cara Delevingne, Mariacarla Boscono, and Kaia Gerber – actress Penélope Cruz also walked. Yes, really!

Appearing in an all-white look comprised of a ruffled lace top and fuzzy skirt, she stomped through the snow in platform heels and carried a single white rose. Instantly iconic, TBH! Cruz is no stranger to fashion, and particularly the house of Chanel: Cruz appears in its Cruise 2019 campaign, as shot by the late designer, and there was also that time she played Donatella Versace in American Crime Story: Versace

Stay tuned for our full coverage of the AW19 show, coming soon.
