As always, our resident photographer Yu Fujiwara took to the city’s streets to capture all the goings on. As usual, Fujiwara documented the usual chaos when fashion month hits, with people rushing to and from the shows pictured alongside regular passersby. Candid images show groups of friends going that extra mile to get the perfect picture for IG, while a number of dogs also appear – hanging out the back of car windows or poking out of bags. Familiar faces feature too, this time in the form of Dazed 100 model Adesuwa and model and activist Hanne Gaby Odiele – with the latter caught between shows, wearing a black utility jacket. Capturing the energy buzzing through the New York air, another image shows graffiti with the words ‘deport Trump’ on the roadside. The irony isn’t lost either when Fujiwara captures a luxury backpack next to an overflowing bin. The stars of this season’s NYFW shots, however, are two young girls appearing to be way more fashionable than most people likely were at their age, with their berets and pompom earrings showing style has no age limit.
