FashionIncomingDiesel and their Paper DenimDiesel seeks out ancient techniques for their new cotton paper denim.ShareLink copied ✔️August 3, 2009FashionIncomingDiesel and their Paper Denim Diesel have taken inspiration from ancient Chinese paper crafting to come up with their new 'Cotton Paper Denim' that is designed to be light weight, dry to touch and completely 'natural'. What might appear to be a rough hewn fabric is actually extremely breathable for the wearer. Here comes the science...The denim contains a 100% organic cotton indigo warp as well as a Japanese paper weft which causes an irregular ripple effect as well as giving the denim an initial stiff touch sensation. Further distressing is caused by manual abrasion and double cold stone washing. If all this clever textile warping is not enough, this new denim will be applied to Diesel's "Keever" fit which is slightly carrot-shaped and will also come in its own dust bag."Keever" paper denim jean available at £180 from August onwards.
