Givenchy is returning to standalone menswear shows

After presenting a trio of co-ed shows, designer Clare Waight Keller is changing things up at the Parisian house

Since taking over as artistic director at Givenchy at the beginning of last year, and making the house completely co-ed in the process, Clare Waight Keller has now announced that she will be presenting standalone menswear collections from January.

During the AW19 shows in January, the house will debut the menswear collection via a presentation before returning to the runway in June for its SS20 show. “Granting men’s wear a dedicated platform starting from January reflects the house’s support of Clare Waight Keller’s vision for the brand,” the house told WWD

While menswear will have its own platform, the womenswear and Couture shows will continue to be co-ed, as is also the case for Celine, Burberry, and Gucci
