While the collaboration – which Abloh will have to fit in between working at Louis Vuitton and Off-White, and collaborating with Nike – is slated to release in 2019, but fans got a preview at a pop-up store on Friday. Four rugs from the “Markerad” collection – called “Blue”, “Grey”, “Keep Off”, and “Still Loading” – were posted to Abloh’s Instagram before appearing at a custom exhibition space in Paris. Ranging in price from €79 to €229, the rugs were variously exhibited about the space; the “Still Loading” rug, which depicts a mountain landscape in the process of, well, loading, was set on an easel, while the bright red “Blue” rug was attached to the ceiling. Obviously, the rugs sold out pretty fast, and are likely to fetch pretty hefty resell prices. Other pieces from the collection were revealed, too, including brown paper “Sculpture” shopping bags, a glass cabinet, and a “Temporary” clock.
