C.P Company was followed by Costume National, with highlights including olive green lounge style silk suiting; then on to Dolce & Gabbana which featured Madonna's new BFF Jesús Luz! The toweling crystallised dressing gown was a real highlight from the collection, perfect for lounging around in a hotel room. Next up was Jil Sander, a predominantly white collection with an amazing sound, ‘Sweet Harmony’ by The Beloved, before Missoni went all club tropicana with sand blasted light weight denim and shipwrecked style layering. Burberry Prorsum revived the classic sailing coat in bright colours and quilted jackets, while Giorgio Armani, who seemed to be channeling prom night chic, sent boys and girls down the runway together. Trussardi 1911 went all native American and a little bit matador with fringing overload, before I finally had dinner with Miles and Justin from Burberry, with guests including a couple of bloggers- Bryan Boy and 000o00.blogspot.com, a banker by day fashion bogger by night who came out especially for the Burberry show.
