Ever the political activist (her last show was dedicated to Julian Assange), Dame Viv teased on her Instagram page that this season would be titled ‘Ecotricity’ – a play on ‘electricity’ that encodes her mission to get us all to switch to ‘green energy’ – what she calls “the best idea (she's) ever had in (her) life”. Last season, her core idea of ‘Intellectuals Unite’ made its way into the collection through slogans and gender-blurring silhouettes so, with hype like this, we’re excited to see how ‘Ecotricity’ translates in this, her long-awaited return to the London men’s show schedule.
