The Sun has made another enemy. This time it is Cara Delevingne, who has taken to Instagram to denounce a story as false. The newspaper claimed that Delevingne was not permitted to walk in the 2014 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show because she was “too bloated”.

However, the claim has been firmly rebuffed by the show’s executive producer Edward Razek, who cleared up the matter in a letter to Delevingne, even revealing that she was first on the invite list. According to the letter, the real reason for her absence from the show was commitments to filming in North Carolina. Razek finishes the letter by inviting her back to the next show on November 30th.

As an outspoken model famous for her positive online output and calling out the industry when it’s needed, the caption sums up her beliefs by saying: “It’s shameless to discuss women's bodies just to sell papers”.
