Hot on the heels of his first solo show at Brooklyn’s Red Hook Labs, Spanish fashion house Loewe has unveiled its AW16 lookbook shot by the photographer. Along with Hawkesworth, the house’s creative director Jonathan Anderson enlisted two of his other long-term collaborators: stylist Benjamin Bruno and acclaimed art graphic design duo M/M Paris, along with former Dazed cover star Natalie Westling, J.W.Anderson SS16 exclusive Mayka Merino and Dolce & Gabbana favourite Vittoria Ceretti. Anderson took the helm at Loewe back in October 2013 and, since then, has injected the house with the innovation and forward-thinking design he’s known for his own label. This season, his collection for the brand centred around the idea of curation. “Loewe is, historically, a bag brand,” he said, commenting on the collection. The idea is articulating the look around the bag, so that everything became compressed or blended within the look. Everything is either blown-up or reduced or made smaller.” Loewe AW16 lookbookPhotography Jamie HawkesworthExpand your creative community and connect with 15,000 creatives from around the world.READ MOREOoh Be Gah!
