So much so, that when we gave their collaborative jewellery a second look, we simply had to rehash our findings. This season, Johannson teamed up with German jewellery artisan, Mikael Zobel to create Acne’s 20 pieced fine jewellery debut. Johannson’s autumn concept had begun with a multi ringed street sighting, so it was only natural that accoutrements would have a major force in the collection. A combination of raw and polished metals and stones, the collection of necklaces, bangles and rings is part organic, part sci-fi. “For me the whole collection for AW09 started with jewellery. I was sitting at Cafe de Flore in Paris last June and I saw this amazing man in his 70’s having a coffee with his hands completely covered in rings – and I was so inspired by his look-I could not stop thinking about it and jewellery in general. Then one of my design assistants brought in this book with al l of these amazing jewellery pieces in it, which were somewhere between art and adornment. It turned out to be her father Mikael Zobel’s amazing work, and I knew then that we had to do something together” Expand your creative community and connect with 15,000 creatives from around the world.READ MOREBianca Saunders teams up with the Tate for Blake-inspired collectionCult icon John Malkovich is the new face of JW Anderson InstagramHow to stay authentic online, according to Instagram Rings creatorsShawna Wu’s designs loop and knot between past and presentMelanie Ward: Remembering the trailblazing stylist in her own wordsFashion Killa: Revisit A$AP Rocky’s most iconic outfits CrocsTried and tested: taking Crocs new boots on a trial through LondonSP5DER’s ‘Sweet Tooth Rodeo’ was a love letter to Black cowboy culture080 Barcelona Fashion080 Barcelona Fashion Week, these were your best momentsSia Arnika wants to dress you like a ‘Harbor Bitch’Our favourite pop culture Halloween costumes for 2025Grace Wales Bonner is heading to Hermès
