But in an industry where today’s news is tomorrow’s ancient history, what's changed in the 14 years since the world’s most ridiculously good looking model graced our screens? Thankfully, the power of his pout is one thing we don’t have to worry about, as evidenced by his latest campaign. Adding Derek Zoolander to his list of superstar subjects (that includes everyone from Kate Moss to Keith Richards), legendary photographer Mario Testino has shot the male model for CÎROC Vodka. Their latest On Arrival campaign is marking Zoolander’s fashion return with a specially-designed, limited edition ‘CÎROC Derek Zoolander Blue Steel’ bottle – available from January. For the images, Testino (CÎROC’s creative director) took inspiration from the hedonistic photography Slim Aarons, known for documenting the high-flying elites of the 60s and 70s, shooting Zoolander in a nightclub setting. His suit? Metallic blue, obviously. Watch the trailer for Zoolander 2 below: Escape the algorithm! Get The DropEmail address SIGN UP Get must-see stories direct to your inbox every weekday.
