Since making her debut on Prada’s AW15 catwalk, the Dominican Republic native has risen to become one of the industry’s most in-demand models. In fact the 19-year-old was SS16’s most popular model, walking a total of 68 shows throughout the season. She’s also landed two advertising campaigns for Prada, one for Givenchy and now, one for Chanel too. In this short, 30-second video unveiled today, Montero is captured by Walter Films alongside Argentinian model and fellow runway favourite Mica Arganaraz. The pair are dressed in colourful numbers from Chanel’s SS16 collection with jaunty print scarves tied around their necks. For this collection, Karl Lagerfeld took inspiration from the world of air travel, even presenting the range in a mock air terminal set within Paris’ Grand Palais.
