Comme des Garcons was a highlight for David as was Jean Paul Gaultier's S&M-themed show.
Junya Watanabe was an early start after the previous nights gadding about, but fuelled by coffee the show must go on. The Cyberdog puffina goth brides - with a dose of bling for good measure, was an interesting way to start the day. Next show was Tsumori Chisato where basket weave hair and hippy arts and crafts girls walk as if in a dream-like state even though one went the wrong way, oops- sorry Skye!
Sophia Kokosalaki - peddle to the metal. Rock on! Lots of berries n' bubbles at Loewe and a great show to boot. At Comme des Garcons the beautiful collection involved paper dolls to cut out and keep. tulle enveloped silhouettes and granny blankets wrapped into a coat. In contrast, we ended the long day with the ooh la licious Jean Paul Gaultier. Parisian bondage bitches and drag kings, cat fights and mud wrestling. Way to go Gaultier! Big drama of the week and in particular at this show were the amount of fur protesters. Rumour has it Patti Wilson had to turn her goat inside out to fool them - Beyond Raquel! A very long day but fashion stops for no one.
