The young Danish actress stars alongside fellow actor and Dazed 100 star, Jack Kilmer. Kilmer, who featured in Gia Coppola’s Palo Alto, modelled in Saint Laurent's SS15 campaign and, along with Kristin, the brand's SS16 show. This Slimane-shot campaign features the men’s SS16 and women’s cruise collections and is set in a house by the sea – an appropriate location given the designer’s description of the collection: “A tribute to contemporary Californian surf music culture.” Slimane loves to reference youth culture in his designs, whether it’s the beaches of LA or 60s Britain. This collection was an ode to the former, and also to Kurt Cobain’s brand of 90s grunge – white sneakers, worn denim, fringed denim and suede jackets, palm tree prints and polka dots. There was even a pair of shades that looked identical to the pair worn by the late Nirvana star.
