Some lucky Instagram users have been given the chance to do just that with the V&A’s smash Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty show, as part of the app’s #Empty project. The scheme has already seen the world’s best ‘grammers get to explore the Frieze, Tate, Guggenheim and the Metropolitan Museum of Art after hours, but last week it was the London exhibition that provided the backdrop for their snaps, allowing a group to get up close and personal with items from McQueen’s most fabled collections. Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty, in partnership with Swarovski, supported by American Express, with thanks to M∙A∙C Cosmetics, technology partner Samsung and made possible with the co-operation of Alexander McQueen, runs until 2 August 2015.
