From Vivienne Westwood marching outside the Shell headquarters as part of “Free the Arctic 30” protest with Greenpeace to enfant terrible Jean Paul Gaultier customising clothes for the Designers Against AIDS initiative, the industry’s biggest names aren’t afraid to lend their weight to a good cause. Now it’s Italian online fashion hub Luisaviaroma’s turn to head up a campaign against poverty and worldwide injustice. With Pitti Imagine around the corner, the brand teamed up with furniture co Altreforme and designers Manish Arora, Yaz Bukey, Corto Moltedo, Fausto Puglisi and KTZ for a collaboration in support of Oxfam Italy. The Altreforme Goes Fashion collection features reimagined versions of the iconic Salvador chair – up for auction on eBay now. Check them out here before the listing ends on Sunday.
