It was early days for the Sassy intern turned it-girl, but she already had the hallmarks of an upcoming underground fashion icon – confirmed by a recently fronted campaign for Miu Miu. Having since been the face of Chloé, racked up a whole lot of cult film credits (American Psycho, The Brown Bunny, Party Monster) and had her own line with Opening Ceremony, Sevigny has become an entire generation’s enduring style icon. Now, a new book, courtesy of Rizzoli, is chronicling her life in pictures – from her days as a 90s skater girl hanging out in Washington Square Park to life as high fashion muse, it’s the ultimate ode.
