The 19-year-old model and former Dazed cover star is the new face of the #mycalvins Denim Series, a limited-edition collection that revives CK's iconic 90s design and branding for a whole new generation. (Depressing fact: Jenner wasn't even born when Kate Moss starred in the legendary Calvin Klein jeans advert.) WWD reports that Alasdair McLellan photographed the campaign in New York City, with styling by Melanie Ward. The campaign also feature male model Simon Nessman, but seriously – he's a long way off Kendall's 21.8m followers, so this isn't even about him. "It was super fun,” Jenner told the publication of the shoot. “It’s really exciting. Honestly, it has been my dream to be able to do something like that. Calvin Klein’s ad campaigns have always been so memorable." Jenner had been part of the #mycalvins social media campaign last year, which featured celebrities and models Instagramming pictures of themselves in the branded underwear. And she says that she's still a fan of the retro designs. "Honestly, I wear it every night to sleep and I wear it every day, so it was a natural thing for me," she said. "It’s funny because my agent asked me, 'why did you post that?' and I said 'because I’m actually wearing it and I actually love it and I wanted to post it'." Hopefully she won't get death threats over appearing in the newest CK campaign, like Lara Stone did – but given that Justin Bieber's stayed well out of this shoot, we think that's unlikely.
