Beyond the surface: Gosha Rubchinskiy SS15

Fascinated by Moscow's music-obsessed youth ("I like young people’s energy. For them it’s all about music subcultures...All of my friends are skateboarders and music is their main art," he said in our summer issue) Gosha Rubchinskiy's runway debut in Paris shook up the institutionalised city with post-Soviet street sensibility. This revelatory moment of rebirth was captured by Lea and Roberto Colombo, who document Rubchinskiy’s fast-paced, teen mentality in the last film in this series. The street-cast Russian boys stride around with a confidence and strong-will that mirrors the designer’s vision to represent Moscow’s young generations.
