In a politically-charged demonstration, monochromatic animal masks, brightly painted faces and space-age glasses took the audience to a fantasy land that also commented upon wider, global issues – this time, the protection of native tribes worldwide. The third part of the fashion film series sees Lea and Roberto Colombo go backstage at the Belgian provocateur's runway show, finding a place to spectate amongst the pre-show pandemonium. “You’ll normally find me crouched on the floor in some corner trying to avoid all the madness,” Colombo told us. “I like to catch those little candid moments in between all the chaos.” And – as a show titled ‘WHAMBAM’ might suggest – chaos was the order of business.
