The British Fashion Awards have just announced this year's nominees, with Marques'Almeida, LVMH Young Fashion Designer prizewinner Thomas Tait and models Sam Rollinson and Cara Delevingne all up for awards in the emerging designer categories.

The annual awards ceremony honours the best and brightest in British fashion, with nominees and winners decided by a panel of industry experts. Last year, Simone Rocha and Agi & Sam nabbed the awards for best emerging designers last year. So who's in the running for 2014?

Marques'Almeida, Thomas Tait and Savile Row-trained Paula Gerbase of 1205 are in the running for Emerging Womenswear Designer while Craig GreenAstrid Andersen and Lee Roach head up the nominees for Emerging Menswear Designer.

J.W. Anderson and Erdem are competing against 2013 winner Christopher Kane for the womenswear designer of the year. Anderson is also up for best menswear designer of the year, though he'll have to fight off Tom Ford, Christopher Bailey for Burberry and Paul Smith for the honour.

Meanwhile, the model of the year category sees Saint Laurent girl Sam Rollinson alongside Cara Delevingne fending off bestie Jourdan Dunn for the award.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony hosted by Jack Whitehall at the London Coliseum on 1 December. Who's your favourite to win?
