This show saw Frida Giannini redefine the codes of Gucci whilst still respecting its legacy – present in the brand's classic red and green stripes which appeared on the straps of shoulder bags. Through suede and leather, archetypal Gucci materials, Giannini pushed a strong 1970s silhouette and offered a new take on the classic Gucci bamboo bag. Standout looks: The show's key moments included Japanese floral print pyjama suit and embellished dresses, and a boxy denim shift dress featuring a lace-up detail down the front.
