Initial reaction:

Picnic attire gone glam and ladies who lunch "slumming it" with a host of daywear contradictions that included parkas rendered in woven raffia and skirt suits in chambray. Things then progressively became more glamourous as we progressed into lace eveningwear and metallic lame bias cut dresses.

Accessories:

American Chinese take-out boxes in snakeskin, metallic leather and distressed lace. It's the miniaudiere with a twist.

The opening passage of densely woven melange raffia, matte effect macrame hoodies that resembled very thick lace.
