Two days before the Balmain show we had to courier Olivier Rousteing more film for his Instax camera. This wasn’t going to be your average photo diary. When we sent the Parisian designer a Fujifilm Instax to record his AW14 season, we expected high voltage opulence and a heavy dose of pop bling – we weren’t disappointed. From candid shots of fittings, to the frenetic energy backstage during the show and a raucous after party at the Crazy Horse club – the Balmain world is about as high octane as it gets. Oh, and there’s a lot of Rihanna in there too.
