Fashion / ShowGiles AW14Strobe lights, Kendall Jenner and Cara Delevingne filming selflies down the runwayShareLink copied ✔️February 17, 2014FashionShowTextIsabella BurleyPhotographyLea ColomboGiles AW14 Initial reaction: Warning: This show contains strobe lights, Kendall Jenner, Cara Delevingne, Cora Corre, Jourdan Dunn and Lily McMenamy. The Cara effect: Delevingne made her way down the runway by taking selfies and filming the audience on her iPhone (see clip below). Atmosphere: Club meets catwalk. Hypnotic strobe lights pumped through the show space, as East London’s very own James Jeanette performed in thigh-high leather boots and not much else. Stand out looks: The opening birds of paradise prints, which quickly progressed into moody monochrome garments. Lily McMenamy closed the show in a prom evening gown (having a little trip on the way) complete with studded white leather gloves. It's a bugs life: Reminding us of his ability to warp classic pieces, Deacon covered a black and white evening gown in cut out beetles that climbed their way across the body. Models: Cara Delevigne (@caradelevingne), Kendall Jenner (@Kendalljenner), Jourdan Dunn (@officialjdunn), Edie Campbell (@ebcampbell), Anna Levichkina. Escape the algorithm!
