Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, 20-year-old Lea now resides in Paris. Her distinct and original photography style belies her years; her multi-layered, film-like images capture the atmosphere of a show, whether that be the unnerving entrapment of women under strip lighting at Prabal Gurung SS14, or the super-car super-luxury performance of Opening Ceremony’s SS14 debut. Some of Lea’s most enthralling images however, are her model portraits: shining a beautiful light on the individual personalities we rarely see on the catwalk. Here Lea presents her New York Fashion Week as an arresting diary of portraits.
