For the July issue of Dazed & Confused, Maria was grunged up in YSL Beauté for Robbie Spencer’s Young and Restless story, shot by Richard Burbridge. From Poland to Paris, Maria has become a runway regular, walking for Celine, Marc Jacobs, YSL and of course, Hedi Slimane's Saint Laurent grunge-fest. In this Dazed short, wearing tomboy uniform of denim dungarees and Dr. Martens, the dirty blonde admits she fell into modelling to pocket pennies for a new computer. While her un-brushed bob is reminiscent of Kurt Cobain's two-tone shag, she has a rare impish charm and beauty that remains unique.
