Brit girl in Paris Clare Waight Keller brought back some awkward but feisty teenage memories at Chloé. The Chloé girl is ever-changing whilst having a wardrobe that only tweaks with each season, conveying spirited ease. As Keller emphasised backstage, the season she skews younger, aiming to capture an “independent spirit”. A Hefty school bag slung over the shoulder, pinafore dresses worn with tough boots, slouchy trackie bottoms and sweatshirts, school shirts and boxy skirts were clothes from school-to-after-school with Waight Keller’s supreme fabric choices. That boy/girl sensibility is more present as Waight Keller adds tougher hardware elements to the collection. She may not slow dance with the boys at the dodgy school dance but she’ll look cool on the sidelines, wearing a caged crystal dress, evoking the wire fences that we inevitably broke through in our youth. www.chloe.com Makeup: Diane Kendal Models pictured: Bette Franke-@Bette_Franke, Julia Nobis-@JuliaNobis1, Karlina Caune-@kkkarlie, Janice Alida-@janicealida, Sigrid Agren-@sigridagren, Tilda Lindstam-@tildalindstam, Ji Hye Park-@JiHyePark0206, Marte Mei van Haaster-@martevanhaaster, Nadja Bender-@NadjaBender, Tian Yi-@tianyi Escape the algorithm!
