Effortless. Nonchalant. Chic. These are the words that an Isabel Marant collection must adhere to lest the brand's diehard fans defect elsewhere. They’re not going anywhere though when Marant serves up the core pieces that will take her girl anywhere. A subtle smattering of studs injected a faint rock 'n' roll vibe. Only faint though as what prevailed were comfort-seeking clothes – stretchy but short jersey dresses, layered sheer tees, just-right jeans, knits that were slashed at the bust and long in the sleeve and borrowed-from-boyfriend blazers.  There's no reason to mess around with a tried and tested uniform.
