It would be an understatement to say that Versace could be described as a punk label. This is the slashed to up-there wardrobe of the Glamazon after all, from Supers in the 90s to superbabes in the 00s. But it would be an oversight to apply the same theory to Donatella Versace, a woman brimming with punk attitude from her immaculately coiffed blonde mane to her pedicured, perilously high-heeled toes. She answers to no-one and does exactly what she wants, speaking to her own tribe with authenticity and flicking life's ash into a gilded Medusa ashtray. She's all passion, but she also doesn't give a fuck. What's more punk than that?
