Yu Masui is a London-based fashion journalist who started his career as a buyer at the legendary Pineal Eye. Introducing many emerging talents, his selections also extended to several Japanese boutiques. He's since returned to his roots as a fashion writer, a discipline he studied, contributing to leading Japanese titles. Masui is also a self-confessed "lazy blogger", happily writing about food, travel, lifestyle and sometimes fashion on Yu ♥..., parallel to his deadlines.

LFW day five: 'Mix 'n' Match'

"The last day of LFW Yu Masui decided to chill out a bit by mixing up luxe items with high street. Vintage Hedi Slimane for Dior Homme gold jacket is styled with the J.W. Anderson x Topshop collaboration launched on the first day of LFW, Lanvin shirt with 'Boyfriend' style jeans from Uniqlo. Primark socks add cuteness and Loubies gives this style another luxe touch! Anyway, today's look is more how to mix and match for girls, high end and high street, boyish with girly. By the way, Yu is obsessed with chunky jewellery! Boys with jewellery can look tacky or camp... this is the case of campness. However a bicycle chain inspired Mawi's AW13 collection and it's wearable for guys."
