Gary Card's Electric Christmas Playlist

The Kings Cross Filling Station, complete with Bistrotheque spin-off Shrimpy's in the kiosk, got everyone tripping to Kings X over summer, an area otherwise almost exclusively for college (the new CSM campus) or jumping on the Eurostar. That will change, with the 67 acre redevelopment, but as history proves, the fabulous move in first.

Overlooking the Regents Canal, the Carmody Groarke designed space has seen many science and culture events over the warm evenings and now, for its first Christmas, Dazed & Confused collaborator, set designer and illustrator Gary Card has created a techno tree inspired by the Vauxhall Ampera, plugged into the electric car of the same name.

Card, who has collaborated with the likes of Comme des Garçons, creating headpieces for the SS12 womenswear catwalk; LN-CC, Loewe and Topman has compiled a playlist for Dazed Digital to celebrate, setting you up for both the weekend and the festive countdown.
