The show went very smoothly, it was today – Tuesday at 4pm – and we started working on it Thursday last week, so there were 5 days of prepping. The collection had a very lovely and relaxed vibe. Highlights of mine were the girls' patchwork headscarves; the boys' Kangol limited edition collaboration hats with graffiti jacquards, the new silhouette of the large cargo pants for men and the women's multi print dresses. I loved the white mélange oversized jumper and across the mens and womens the striped pyjama shirt and trousers are great! Plus the clear vinyl womens' bags were very covertable. Were there any panicked moments? Well, one of the models ‘forgot’ to go and change into his underwear so did it in the dressing area, as opposed to the toilets! The soundtrack was inspired by 80’s electronica. In the collection there were many nods towards Bow Wow Wow, The Clash, John Lydon in Public Image Ltd, so the soundtrack was a modern reference to that. The night before, we were lucky enough to be able to go to the Marc Jacobs collection show, which was exciting! Definitely another highlight.Next, I am working on the Marios Schwab show with Katy England this week and then going to Zanzibar for a campaign at the end of the month!"Text and additional photography Ellie Grace Cumming Escape the algorithm!
