Exclusive: Flyknit Fashion GIFs Styled by Susie Bubble

Jamie Stoker shoots the sportswear creations from Nike’s 1948 summer workshops

In lead up to the interactive Nike Flyknit-inspired London installation that visionary art and design studio United Visual Artists will be unveiling on 17th August, the series of summer creative and sports workshops at Nike’s 1948 space came to an end last week. With all of the participants creating an element that will feature in the final east London experience.

During the Formfitting workshop week, a roll call of some of London’s most inspiring names in sportswear-influenced fashion hosted sessions including designers Astrid Andersen and Carri Munden of Cassette Playa and the pattern obsessed creative consultancy duo, Grace Winteringham and Anna Murray of Patternity. Alongside Tremaine Emory and Tarik Fontenelle, founders of the 48 Ballers basketball club and St. Leonard’s football club respectively, the aspirants were tasked with creating their ultimate sports jersey that feature in this awesome GIF photoshoot, styled by Susie Bubble and shot by Jamie Stoker.

It was so inspiring to see so many people coming from different disciplines and backgrounds come together and work at one task,” says Susie Bubble of the workshop and shoot. “It was interesting to learn about how they approached their jerseys and I was blown away by how ambitious their designs were. The shoot itself was a little stressful as I only had a few hours with the guys but I loved working with each of them. To be honest, their designs packed such a punch on a visual level that there wasn't too much to do in terms of styling.”
