Lucas Nascimento Womenswear A/W12

Styled by Dazed & Confused's Fashion Director Karen Langley, assisted by Emma Wyman, São Paulo's Lucas Nascimento has hit the ground running in our capital with a collection inspired by skateboarding and the hot, baked-in paint of street graffiti in the southern hemisphere. 

His collection of references was by no means a literal walk-through however, as the designer showed his ability to cut clean, modernist shapes that balanced elegance with a street-beating urbanity. Giving knit the structure and feeling of neoprene, the London College of Fashion Graduate is a master of creative deception. His innovation will go far.
