Working with reconstructed modern pieces to opulent Eastern influences, Vivienne Westwood brought out gilded brocade kimono-style dresses on models with huge fluttering eyelashes and reworked Geisha-like make-up. Lace veils in black and gold gave an exotic and mysterious feel to the girls whilst bright tassel earrings in vivid orange and pinks also surfaced. Sculpted corsets, lace and netting gave a romantic and luxurious edge to her signature layered draping techniques and extravagantly bold shoulders.
