This was conveyed through the deconstructed nature of the dresses on show as well as the very literal band of white across the models' noses. Models made their way down the catwalk with surgeons markings in black pen over their bodies. The broken frilled chiffon dresses on show alluded to the playfullness of youth whilst exploring a darker subtext with the deconstructed element of the pieces. Stripes were broken, pinched and contorted in a subversion of Back's previous collections. Brash gold and crystal jewellery further galvanised Back's idea of narcissistic tendencies. Despite the unusual starting point, the collection was largely very wearable and the cutaway chiffon dresses will surely prove to be very desirable come spring.
